WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

Work by Michael Neve

Work from Michael Neve: 1st picture Experimentally measured mean path loss estimates from a 1.8 GHz transmitter located at I3 on Level 8 of the School of Engineering Tower at UoA. Radio shadow cast by the centrally located elevator shaft can be observed in the lower right region of the plot (green). 2nd picture is  a contour plot of the signal-to-interferance ratio.

Michael Neve’s research: Radiowave propagation modelling in cellular/microcellular/indoor environments, the interaction of electromagnetic fields with man-made structures, cellular system performance optimization and antennas.
